The Reference is "76" and is located on each end link (President Model ref. No.). The "7206" No. you see on some bracelets simply date its production date to June 1972. Some had date marks and some did not. Most authorized dealerships did not want the Dates on the bracelets because customers thought that they were used when they became over a year old, and the dealers had difficulty selling them "as new". Bracelets were produced by Rolex in Europe and separately in the Americas.
