1883 MODEL WALTHAM ORIGINAL FANCY SILVER HUNTING CASE Circa: 1892. Appleton, Tracy & Co. Grade. Waltham assigned this grade to the best and highest grade models since 1958. This very nice watch comes with a vintage pocket watch vest chain. This watch can be worn in the vest pocket or the pants pocket with the chain attached to the belt loop for security. The 1883 Model by Waltham is partically beautiful in design. This is the all nickel plates and is brilliant in appearnce. Clean, running and very suitable as a gift. Clean, running and accurate.

DIAL: White porcelain double sunken dial, which is the original high grade dial for this model. This dial has some hairlines, however, still is very acceptable. MOVEMENT: 18 size, hunting model, lever set, full plate nickel damascening fancy complicated patterns, signed; "Appleton, Tracy & Co.", "ADJUSTED", #6,007,946. Brilliant contrast, and original to the case and dial. Excellent condition. CASE: Marked "3" (three ounces of coin silver), very fancy flowers with a shield or blank area, which is not personalized. The dust cover is also not yet personalized. The condition is excellent, free of dings or problems. Note the superb condition of the bow, stem and crown area group. Nickel silver vest chain is correct with this period watch. Very nice. NOTE: Please view our return policy for exchanges and returns.
