ELGIN GRADE 96 STEM WIND FULL PLATE GILT 2oz. COIN SILVER FAHYS HUNTING CASE C: 1884. The condition is a major factor in the value and desirability of this watch. The case is very much like new and is a solid 2oz. coin silver material. The case features a blank shield suitable for a new owners initials, also with a blank dust cover. The case is original to the seven jewel movement. The dial is mint. This watch is presented with a snake style nickel/silver vest chain to complete this presentation. I think this watch would be best suited for a gift presentation. Clean, running and accurate. Just serviced.

DIAL: White porcelain single sunken with fine Roman figures and signed: "ELGIN NAT'l WATCH Co." The hands are original and also, like new. MOVEMENT: 18 size, hunting model, full plate gilt, seven jewels, lever set, #1,739,718. Original to the case. Absolutely mint. CASE: 18 size, hunting model, plain original polished surfaces presenting a blank shield on the front center. Inside marked; "FAHYS/COIN". Mint original case. Very scarce.
