HAMILTON 17 JEWELS GRADE 973 HUNTING MODEL Circa: 1903. Rather low serial number. Superb condition throughout. Very scarce in this condition. This civilian grade was produced for the gentleman who demanded the best. The movement is a hunting model cased in a very nice open face case. Clean, running and still very accurate.
THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Small Arabic figures immediately indicate a early example of production. This white porcelain single sunken original hunting model dial is in mint condition and is marked: "Hmilton watch Co." Scarce mint dial. MOVEMENT: 16 size, hunting model (winds at 3 o'clock), pendent set, 3/4 plate nickel, "17 Jewels", #301,987. Excellent condition, free of distraction. CASE: 16 size, open face model screw back and bezel with engine turning pattern on the back featuring a blank shield (not initialed). Excellent condition.
