*HAMILTON 21 JEWELS GRADE 970 FACTORY SALESMANS DISPLAY Circa: 1898. Fine and rare Railroad approved Grade. Produced with Roman figures for the civilian market. This watch was marketed for the gentleman who demanded the best and most accurate. Cased in the original Hamilton Factory and marked Salesmans Display case for easy viewing of this rare movement. Clean, running and a must for any serious Hamilton watch collector. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Double sunken white porcelain with bold Roman figures and marked: "Hamilton' in fine script. Hairline at 10 edge only. Rare original dial. MOVEMENT: 16 size, open face, 3/4 plate nicke, starburst pattern from center, pendent set, "21 Jewels", "ADJUSTED", #70,203; all 14k screw down jewel settings. Excellent condition. CASE: 16 size, Hamilton Factory nickel snap back and bezel with "Hamilton" signature on both bezels. All glass beveled on both sides for very clear viewing of both the dial and movement.
