CHRONOGRAPHE SUISSE 18k ROSE GOLD BLACK ENAMEL DIAL 38mm Circa: 1947. Fine and rare. Original Black Enameled chronograph dial. Enameled surfaces on vintage watchs always resisted ageing much better than regular painted surfaces. This example is a superb speciman of this type. 38mm diameter without the crown, by 44mm in length, and 13mm thick. Clean, running and very beautiful. An impressive watch for evening wear.

DIAL: ORiginal black enameled surface with rose Araabic figures and a red sweep second chronograph hand. Signed; "CHRONOGRAPHE SUISSE/ ANTIMAGNETIC/ 15 RUBIS". Both a Base 1000mm and a TELEMETRE track outside of the 1/5 second minute track. Superb original condition. MOVEMENT: Nickel Landeron 48 Swiss nickel and gilt single function chronograph. Seventeen (17) Jewels". Clean, running and fully functional. CASE: Snap back solid 18k rose gold marked: ".750" with the Cameo and reference No.s on back. Double snap off back reveals a supportive metal cover over the movement. All original and free of distraction. BAUME & MERCIER STERLING SILVER JUMBO CHRONOGRAPH 39mm Circa: 1945. Italian market early chronograph. Featured is the extra bold Radium filled Arabic Art Deco figures. The original Oyster steel deployment bracelet adds to appearance and value.
