SOUTH BEND 21j STUDEBAKER ANTIQUE BOW CASE Circa: 1927. Named after one of the founders of this company; John M. Studebaker. This model was perhaps the most famous of the South Bend high grade models. Featured is "8 Adjustements". This example is all original and features a mint antique bow model case and double sunken original porcelain dial. Clean, running and accurate. This South Bbend is especially collectible.

DIAL: Single sunken white porcelain with very bold Arabic figures and marked: "SOUTH BEND". A single light hairline exists at 7 edge only. MOVEMENT: 16 size, oen face, two finger nickel bridge, pendent set, "8 Adjustments", and "STUDEBAKER", "21 Jewels", #1,182,752. Very nice. Original to the case. Excellent bright bold color and contrast. Clean, running and accurate. CASE: Scrw back and bezel yellow gold filled with an original extra thick beveled glass crystal.
