SETH THOMAS 17j TWO-TONE GEORGE W. COOLEY, SIDNEY, N.Y. MODEL 101 SALESMAN'S DISPLAY C; 1882. Extremely rare Seth Thomas variation. This model was especially ordered by this New York Jeweler in 1882; "George W. Cooley, Sidney, N.Y." The two-tone yellow and nickel patterns are the Henry Molineux Seth Thomas Grade. Both the dial and movement are personalized for this jeweler and this watch was merchandised only through his store. The Illinois Watch Co. was willing to provide this service to be competitive against other larger American manufacturers. This watch is all original, clean, running and especially collectible.
