* 21j WASHINGTON WATCH Co. ARMY and NAVY SALESMAN'S DISPLAY C: 1912. Just removed from my personal collection. Fine and rare; single star rarity in all price guides; high book value is $1400.00. Washington Watch Co. was Montgomery Ward's private label and made by the Illinois Watch Co. This rare example of this private label Illinois features an original dial which is also marked "Washington Watch Co." in fine script. Presented in the original salesmans sample case complete with hard rock beveled original crystals on both side for easy viewing. An impressive rare Illinois and I am reluctant to part with it. Clean, running and accurate.

DIAL: Original double sunken white porcelain dial with light hairlines at 4 and 12 edge, viewed only through a super loop. Doesn't distract. MOVEMENT: 18 size, open face, full plate nickel with a checkaboard pattern through the center plates, lever set, and all marked in gilt: "Washington Watch Co./ ARMY and NAVY", "Adjusted to Temperature & Positions, "21 Jewels", #2,424,731. Free of distraction with very bright colors. Original to the case. CASE: 18 size, screw back and bezel, yellow gold filled with fancy bezels, original case with the back machined out to accomodate a beveled crystal for the purpose of easy viewing. Very scarce original salesmans sample case. NOTE: Please view our return policy for exchanges and returns.
