SETH THOMAS HENRY MOLINEUX MODEL No. 2 HUNTING MODEL - SALESMANS SAMPLE CASE Circa; 1893. TWO STAR RARITY on all price guides. Valued at $850. This rare Seth Thomas was named after one of the original founders of this famous American Watch and Clock manufacturer. Featured is the cut-a-way 5/8th plate nickel movement with lots of nickel damaskening all over the plates. This rare Seth Thomas is all original with both the dial and movement as in mint condition. Rarely seen or traded in the last 25 years. Just removed from my personal collection. Cased in the original salesmans sample case for easy viewing of this rare movement. Clean, running and still accurate.

DIAL: White porcelain single sunken with fine Arabic figures and signed: "SETH THOMAS". Perfect original and very rare dial. MOVEMENT: 18 size, hunting model, (winds at 3 o'clock), lever set, "17J", "ADJUSTED", "Seth Thomas, Thomason, Conn.", #448,565. Bright contrast, free of distraction.
