ELGIN 18 SIZE 21 JEWEL FATHER TIME Circa: 1899. Fine and scarce. This early railroad approved 21j Father Time is in it's original gold filled case. Elgin National Watch Co. created many advertisements featuring Father Time with his cycle as a logo. This high grade was named after him; "Father Time", and was Elgins best! Especially collectible in this original dial, case, and movement.
THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Double sunken white porcelain with one hairline and tiny chip at the lever set postion, which does not distract. Signed: "Elgin". Original scarce Elgin Railroad dial. MOVEMENT: 18 size, open face, full plate nickel, lever set, marked: "21 Jewels", and "FATHER TIME", "ADJUSTED", #8,695,848. Nice. Original to the case. CASE: Yellow gold filled, fancy engraved surfaces free of wear to brass, screw back and bezel. Nice case. Origiinal to the movement. NOTE: Please view our return policy for exchanges and returns.
