LONGINES 14k GOLD SUB. SECONDS RETANGULAR APPLIED FACETED LUGS C: 1947. Fine and rare. 24mm in diameter without the crown, by 38mm in length, and 10mm thick. Advanced style of the early 1950s. This very fashionable gentleman's retangular design incorporates and applied lug design. This design adds protruding faceted lugs to the retangular 14k gold case. The dial is original and features arrowhead applied gold and Arabic figures. This watch is presented on a cordovan leather strap with bold croc. patterns. This style is the best of the early 1950s and is especially collectible. Clean, running and accurate.

DIAL: Silver satin original finish. All applied gold figures combining Arrowhead and Arabic figures; signed: "LONGINES". Excellent condition and all original. MOVEMENT: All nickel 3/4 plate, pendent set, "Longines Watch Co.", "Seventeen 917) Jewels, #7,670,525. Excellent condition, free of distraction of rust or blemish. CASE: Snap back two-piece solid 14k yellow gold. Excellent condition and a design combining attached faceted lugs to the smooth curved bezels. An impressive, stylish, gentleman's design, lost in the early 50s. BAUME & MERCIER STERLING SILVER JUMBO CHRONOGRAPH 39mm Circa: 1945. Italian market early chronograph. Featured is the extra bold Radium filled Arabic Art Deco figures. The original Oyster steel deployment bracelet adds to appearance and value.
