LONGINES SUPER JUMBO SUB. SECONDS POCKET CONVERSION to THE WRIST- BLACK MILITARY DIAL 49mm diameter Circa: 1905. Rare experimental effort achieved to wear a pocket watch on the wrist. This military 1905 Longines has been especially accomodated to the wrist. A unique successful effort. The case design features fancy lugs and an exposition back for a veiw of the original movement. the 49mm diameter and 60mm length filled the top of the wrist but presents an elegance lost in the turn of the 19th Century. The movement keeps good time and this rare Longines watch is presented on a 20mm dark cordovan croc. pattern strap. Extremely impressive and difficult to understand, at first observation. Clean, running and accurate.

DIAL: Black satin finished non-reflective surface signed "Longines" in fine script with gold fancy original hands. Mint original military style dial. MOVEMENT: Three finger nickel bridge with fish scale patters, pendenet set, "Seventeen (17) Jewels, "LONGINES", #1,968,375. Excellent condidtion. CASE: Exposition wristwatch case especially made to accomodate this Longines Movement. Snap back and bezel with very fancy turn down attached lug design. Glass domed crystal (not plastic). Excellent condition. Extremely impressive from any distance. BAUME & MERCIER STERLING SILVER JUMBO CHRONOGRAPH 39mm Circa: 1945. Italian market early chronograph. Featured is the extra bold Radium filled Arabic Art Deco figures. The original Oyster steel deployment bracelet adds to appearance and value. This single function chronograph is fully functional, clean, running, and accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME. DIAL: Excellent original condition signed: "Baume & Mercier", and "Anti Magnetic/ Seventeen Jewels" in bright red; and "Swiss made" at the very bottom. MOVEMENT: MOVEMENT: Single functrion chronograph with all nickel plates signed: "Baume & Mercier", "Seventeen 17 Jewels". Free of distraction and original to the case and dial CASE: Steel snap back with sterling silver top, frame, and lugs. Steel flex Oyster deployment bracelet. Very nice.
