Price Reduced! BAUME & MERCIER SUPER JUMBO CHRONOGRAPH ROSE GOLD PLATE FANCY LUG DESIGN 39mm Circa: 1952. Rare and fine. Larges chronograph of it day (Early 1950s). At 39mm in diameter without the crown, This was the largest of its kind. Featured is very fancy attached Lugs with the original rose gold plate surfaces still like new condition. This rare early chronograph uses the Swiss Landeron "L248" single fuction chronograph and is clearly marked: "Baume & Mercier on the bridge. The dial, case and movement are all in superb condition and is fully functional. Especially collectible in this larger diameter size.

DIAL: Gold and silver with white matching heavy baton hands. Red register indication hands. Signed: "Baume & Mercier" and "ANTIMATIC/ 17 Rubis". Bright color contrast, very impressive. MOVEMENT: All nickel and gilt single function Landeron "L248" chronograph, pendent set, signed : "17 Jewel Swiss Geneve Baume & Mercier" on bridge. Excellent condition and original to the case. CASE: Snap off nickel back and rose gold plate frame and lug design. All in excellent condition free of distraction. Black 20mm leather croc. pattern strap. 39mm in diameter without the crown. The original Oyster steel deployment bracelet adds to appearance and value. This single function chronograph is fully functional, clean, running, and accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE.
