ELGIN TUXEDO ART DECO 21 JEWELS SCHWAB & SWUSCHPARD 14k SOLID GOLD 40mm in height Circa: 1936 23mm in diameter without the crown by 10mm thick. This early 14k Solid Gold Elgin predates the 21j Lord Elgin Series latter in the 1930s. This Model was introduced by the famous New York Jeweler Schwab & Swuschpard in 1931. This excellent example features a black TUXEDO dial and was the best and highest grade wristwatch of it's day. Clean, running and very stylish, even today.

DIAL: Professionally restored to it's original beauty with all gold applied Art Deco applied figures, original fancy gold hands, and marked: "ELGIN". Nice. MOVEMENT: 3/4 plate nickel, pendent set, "21 Jewels", all red pressed in ruby jewel settings, #36,203,349. Excellent and all original. CASE: 14k Yellow gold signed inside back: "SCHWAY & WUISCHPARD/ 14k SOLID GOLD". This case features stairstepped sides, typical of the Art Deco period. Very nice. Black crocidile pattern leather strap suitable style for this period. BAUME & MERCIER STERLING SILVER JUMBO CHRONOGRAPH 39mm Circa: 1945. Italian market early chronograph. Featured is the extra bold Radium filled Arabic Art Deco figures. The original Oyster steel deployment bracelet adds to appearance and value. This single function chronograph is fully functional, clean, running, and accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME. DIAL: Excellent original condition signed: "Baume & Mercier", and "Anti Magnetic/ Seventeen Jewels" in bright red; and "Swiss made" at the very bottom. MOVEMENT: MOVEMENT: Single functrion chronograph with all nickel plates signed: "Baume & Mercier", "Seventeen 17 Jewels". Free of distraction and original to the case and dial CASE: Steel snap back with sterling silver top, frame, and lugs. Steel flex Oyster deployment bracelet. Very nice.
