LUCIEN PICCARD 14k GOLD SUB. SECONDS GRASSHOPPER STYLE FANCY LUGS 30mm Circa: 1953. 31 Grams total weight. Extreme style, Unique rare design. Featured are the specially designed lugs, which resemble the thighs of a grasshopper! This design only occured in the early 1950s and is especially collectible when discovered in this excellent condition. The case, dial, and movement are all original and are all in excellent condition. Clean, running and accurate.

DIAL: Silver satin sub. seconds with applied gold teardrop figures and an Arabic figure at 12, 9, and 3 o'clock. Very nice. MOVEMENT: 3/4 plate nickel, pendent set, "Lucien Piccard/ Swiss", "Seventeen 17 Jewels". Clean, bright nickel plates, free of distraction, original to the case. CASE: Excellent snap back with movement accessed only through the back. Marked: "14k .585" with Logo on back surface. Fancy grasshopper lugs only have one dent on one lug, which does not distract.
