U.S.N. BU. of SHIPS CANTEEN NAVY COMBAT MILITARY WRIST WATCH. 36mm in diameter without the crown, 45mm with the crown. 46mm in height, and 16mm thick. This watch features the traditional "Canteen" screw down water resistant crown. Current military issue new in the box. Hack feature also allows the wearer to synchronize all the watches in a squad to exactly the same time for high-risk combat missions. This watch also features a black military dial and non-reflective brush finished stainless steel case. Clean, running and accurate.

DIAL: Black non-reflective with white Arabic and a sweep second hand. Marked "U.S. N./BU. SHIPS" just above the center post (please view the macro image below). MOVEMENT: High Grade Swiss Solid State Quartz Model WR 16155 Water resistant to 3ATN. Features a "Hack Feature" which when the stem is pulled out, the time stops allowing the wearer to synchronize the time with other individuals. CASE: All stainless steel screw down crown (Canteen Traditional Military Style) and screw down back. Brushed finished. Military issue cloth band with stainless steel buckel. RAYMOND GOLD FLASHED WORLD WAR II MILITARY Circa: 1942 Created especially for the American War effort in 1942 with very short notice. This movement began as existing stock of a 21j railroad grade. The extra jewel was added to accommodate the sweep seconds indication hand and a "Hack Feature" was added. This hack feature allowed the user to coordinate time with other officers for radio silence military operations in the field. This Elgin is much rarer than the higher production Hamilton and, therefore, is especially collectible. This example still retains the original dial and bright colored indication hands. A wonderful example of American ingenuity and productive know how. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME. DIAL: Black non-reflective surface with a 24 hour sweep and red hands for easy viewing 24 hours. Mint original rare dial. MOVEMENT: 16 size, open face, 3/4 plate gold flashed, "21 Jewels", "Adjusted 5 Positions, pendent set, center sweep wheel added with one more jewel count to 22 jewels, #41,752,076.
