American Watch Co. 15j Wm ELLERY Key Wind and Key Set 4.5 oz. Coin Silver Key Wind Hunting Case Circa: 1866. 18 months after the America Civil War ended. Amercian Watch Co. began in 1858 and sold to the Waltham Watch Co., in 1873. This fine example of a higher grade and value 4.5 oz. Silver original case was the best of it’s day. This case was produced by the American Watch Co. and is original to this high grade movement. Clean, running and an important part of American history. This was the watch most desired as Americans moved West just after the Civil War. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
