SWISS Quarter Hour REPEATER CHRONOGRAPH 50mm Circa: 1902. Rare. Fully functional one quarter hour repeating and 30 minute registering chronograph. Exposition case. This massive complicated high grade has been placed on a 22mm Crocodile pattern calf strap. This is a very rare complicated all original watch that has been very successfully applied to wear on the wrist. Undervalued. Note: Minute repeating wristwatches are being sold currently for between $250k and $550k. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: White enameled single sunken dial with Roman figures and a 30 minute register. Mint condition. MOVEMENT: ¾ plate gilt, 17 jewels, lever set, slide activating ¼ hour repeater. Loud sound. #455,026. Caliber “2440” inside a cross. Movement is free of distraction and is very clean, running with a fully functional and working ¼ hour repeater and chronograph. CASE: Snap back and bezel 50 minute diameter without the crown. Dragon Lug design and very fancy. 63mm in height, and 20mm thick. See through glass on both sides.
