Universal Geneve UNI-COMPAX 18k Rose Gold Chronograph37mm Circa: 1942. All original. 44mm in length and 11mm thick. Fine and extremely rare discovered in this original rose 18k factory case. Highest grade Swiss chronograph at the time (1942). Rose 18k gold with matching figures and hands. Museum quality and especially collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DIAL: All original and marked: “UNIVERSAL/ GENEVE”, and “UNIT-COMPAX”. “SWISS” below 6 0’clock. Free of distraction. MOVEMENT: ¾ plate nickel and gilt early Valjoux chronograph with a single function 30 minute register, “Seventeen (17) Jewels”, Caliber “285”, “Universal Geneve”. Wonderful original condition and original to this case. CASE: Snap back and bezel design with fancy heavy turn down lugs. Heavy 18k rose gold marked; “18ki/.750”, and the Universal Geneve Logo. Original polished surfaces with the back marked; “1551356/124103”. This rose color in 18k is a very rare factory produced and is completely original.
