This model was perhaps the most famous of the South Bend high grade models. Featured is "8 Adjustements". ** SOUTH BEND No. 346 HUNTING MODEL CASE Circa: 1908. Fine and rare. Two Star Rarity in all price guides. Brothers George, Clement and uncle John M. Studebaker, purchased the successful Columbus W.Co. The serial numbers started at 380,501 where the Columbus serial numbers stopped. Production ended in 1929 with 380,000 watches produced. SOUTH BEND 16 SIZE 21 JEWEL RAILROAD GRADE MODEL 227 Circa: 1928 South Bend, Indiana – march 1902 – 1929. Only 850,00 watches were produced in total. This model 227 was a very successful of the Railroad grade models. Especially collectible in this fine condition. Clean, running and still very accurate.
