This model was perhaps the most famous of the South Bend high grade models. Featured is "8 Adjustements". ** SOUTH BEND No. 346 HUNTING MODEL CASE Circa: 1908. Fine and rare. Two Star Rarity in all price guides. Brothers George, Clement and uncle John M. Studebaker, purchased the successful Columbus W.Co. The serial numbers started at 380,501 where the Columbus serial numbers stopped. Production ended in 1929 with 380,000 watches produced. SOUTH BEND 21 JEWEL No. 327 Circa: 1909. Produced as the same grade as the South Bend Studebaker 323, 328, and 329. This Grade features wave pattern damascening pattern on the plates and was Railroad Approved. Especially collectible among Railroad Grade collectors.
